Canada Anemone is truly a species worth highlighting. It is an extremely hardy groundcover, spreading prolifically through rhizomes and tolerating salt as well as virtually any soil and light conditions. It tends to outcompete small and less established plants so it should be used cautiously around other desirable species. This is a great choice for someone who wants a stunning, low maintenance, native groundcover. Its interesting leaf shape and small white flowers are stunning in mass effect.
